Caylor Escalante
Senior Manager, Global Event Experience & Game Presentation
Major League Baseball

NEW YORK, USA // Caylor Escalante is in his 12th season in Major League Baseball with experience at both the Club and League level. A proud alum of the University of Cincinnati, Caylor began his career with the Cincinnati Reds before transitioning to work for MLB’s Office of the Commissioner halfway through the 2019 season.

As a member of the Global Events department, Caylor plays an integral role in elevating the fan experience at MLB’s jewel events, including the World Series, All-Star Week, Field of Dreams, Rickwood Field, and MLB World Tour: London, Mexico, and Seoul.

Caylor’s love for baseball began with his father, Juan, who came to the United States on a baseball scholarship from Venezuela and would eventually meet Caylor’s mother, Rita, while he was playing collegiately in Indianapolis.

The game of baseball also introduced Caylor to his wife, Danielle, where the two met while they were interns at the Cincinnati Reds. With Danielle now working for the NFL’s Commissioner’s Office, the two enjoy supporting each other at their respective events throughout the year.

“It’s incredible to think that two Midwest college kids that met over a decade ago ended up working in New York City for MLB and the NFL, just a few blocks away from each other. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities the sport industry has given me.”
