NEW YORK, USA // Pieter Claeys has always had a deep love for music. As a kid, he played clarinet in the local orchestra of a small town in Belgium. In his teenage years, he had an embarrassingly short-lived rap career that, thankfully, never ended up on record. In his twenties, he was a regular in DJ booths and dance floors across Europe's nightlife scene. Now, in his thirties, he's somehow among the top 1% of listeners for a playlist “2 hours of relaxing nature sounds". (Thank you, Spotify Wrapped) Pieter also loves advertising. At FCB NY, he brings his creative expertise to clients like Spotify, Michelob ULTRA, Budweiser, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He loves to do great work with great people and believes the two are intertwined. He enjoys the hustle of making the impossible happen, whether it's coding a music video for John Summit in Excel, or letting a blind person commentate a basketball game.
