NEW YORK, USA // Jessica Shaw, Senior Vice President of Sync Licensing at Sony Music, leads Sony Music SyncShop. She and her team champion Sony’s vast catalog of recorded music and roster of artists for all visual media licensing. In her 10 years at Sony Music, she has secured music placements with countless global brands including Apple, Volkswagen, Chanel, Target, and Google. Prior to Sony, Jessica worked in commercial sync licensing on the publishing side at Universal Music Publishing Group, Warner/Chappell, and Boosey & Hawkes, after graduating from Duke University with a degree in Music. She is also president and co-founder of Sony’s employee network for parents & caregivers, The Village. In her nearly 20 years dedicated to the craft of music licensing, she strives to elevate artists – both iconic and developing – while enhancing the impact of visual media and advertising.
