CHICAGO, USA // Matthew Jacobson is a creative leader with a rich background in music, design, and marketing. In 1996, he founded the indie record label Le Grand Magistery, recognized as 'the finest underground pop label of the '90s' by All Music Guide. In 1999, he and musician Momus conceived the first crowdfunded album, 'Stars Forever.' Matthew went on to work as Head of Design for Jack White's Third Man Records in Nashville, where he designed groundbreaking projects like the world's only 3RPM record and the Whitewall Triple Decker Record.

Matthew has an extensive background in the world of marketing. He spent seven years at Digitas, where he held various creative leadership roles and ultimately served as Global Executive Creative Director. Most recently, he spent four years as EVP of Marketing & Growth at WPP, the world's largest advertising company.

One of Matthew's passions is concert poster design, and his exceptional work in this area earned him Gold, Silver, and Bronze Clios last year. This year, he is honored to have been engaged by The Clios to design the visual look of the 2025 Clio Music Awards and to serve as a judge for the awards, bringing his unique perspective to evaluating trailblazing work.
