LOS ANGELES, USA // Jeri Heiden is a GRAMMY® award-winning art director and designer and is the creative director at SMOG Design in Los Angeles.

Jeri has over 40 years experience in the music industry — first as designer, art director, and VP, Chief Art Director at Warner Bros. Records from 1982-1995, and as SVP Creative at A&M Records from 1995-1999. She joined SMOG Design, Inc. in 1999.

Jeri has lectured and taught extensively, served on numerous design juries and her work has been recognized by the AIGA, American Center for Design, the Grammys® (6 nominations, 1 win), the Type Directors Club of NYC, Graphis, Print, Communication Arts, I.D. Magazine and the Art Directors Clubs of Los Angeles and New York.

She has served on the AIGA/L.A. advisory board and been a member of the AIGA and The Recording Academy for over 30 years. In 2010, Jeri was the recipient of the prestigious AIGA Los Angeles Fellows Award.

Her work can be seen on over 450 album campaigns, including projects with: Madonna, Eagles, P!NK, The Birdsong Project, Sheryl Crow, k.d. lang, The Decemberists, Rhiannon Giddens, John Mayer, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tina Turner and CHER.
