NEW YORK, USA // Julie Vastola is the Senior Vice President of Creative at Republic Records. Since joining the team in 2015, she has brought bring her creative vision, innovative thinking and strategic expertise to Republic and its world-class roster of artists. In 2018, Vastola was instrumental in creating Republic’s first content department, focusing on short form and digital content production and strategy.

As a curator, afficionado and executive, her vision and aesthetic are unmatched. She consistently aligns our artists with equally talented creators who add another dimension to each and every release.”

Julie notably spearheaded the creative strategy for Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2, Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine, Lil Wayne Tha Carter 5, Miranda Lambert Wranglers and many more. She also lead the short form content and social media strategy for Florence + The Machine’s Dance Fever, Ariana Grande Positions, Kid Cudi Man On The Moon 3, Nicki Minaj Queen, Nicki Minaj Beam Me Up Scotty and Pop Smoke Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon.

Vastola and her team have been recognized by the Clio Music awards for their creative marketing campaigns including Jonas Brothers Happiness Begins, Florence + The Machine Dance Fever, The Weeknd After Hours, and Republic Records Label of the year.

Vastola was featured on Billboard’s outstanding Women in music list in 2024 and Billboard’s Pride Movers and Shakers music list in 2022 and 2023. Before joining the Republic team in 2015, she served as a project manager and creative director for SRP Music Group.

Julie received her BS in Music Business, graduating with honors from Northeastern University. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her girlfriend and their 2 dogs.
