NEW YORK, USA // Chika Okafor is a Senior Designer at Warner Bros. Discovery (Max), where she develops innovative design solutions to enhance user engagement and retention. She leads design strategies for emails, editorial webpages and app campaigns, partners with engineering and copy teams, and collaborates closely with product managers to optimize user experiences through research and testing. Chika directed a team of designers in creating GIPHYs and GIPHY stickers for HBO Max. She is also known for implementing design systems that streamline workflows and maintain consistency across digital assets. Additionally, Chika manages and mentors interns, ensuring their growth in design and professional development. Her work has earned her Webby Awards with her colleagues for HBO Max and recognition by GIPHY for one of the top gifs in 2021.

Chika studied Visual Communication Design at The Ohio State University. She enjoys design challenges, conceptualizing ideas, and utilizing strategy for creative solutions.
