NEW YORK, USA // Bronwen O’Keefe is a seasoned media executive with over 25+ years’ experience across production and development and serves as the Head of Brand Marketing and Content, Harlem Globetrotters & Herschend Entertainment Studios.

In her current role, O’Keefe spearheads initiatives that focus on global content, consumer marketing, and creative oversight for the Harlem Globetrotters global tour. This includes overseeing the two-time Emmy® nominated NBC 30-minute weekly series, “Harlem Globetrotters: Play it Forward” and creation of new Globetrotters development slate inclusive of documentaries, animated series & specials, branded digital entertainment, and a variety of scripted and unscripted formats. Under her leadership, O’Keefe has taken steps towards transforming the Harlem Globetrotters into a multifaceted global entertainment brand.

Previously, O’Keefe led her own production company, Two Bears Productions, where she consulted for a variety of brands and platforms. Prior to that she spent over 20 years at Nickelodeon where she rose in the ranks to become an Executive Vice President, overseeing all “Live Action” production and development for the #1 global kids content brand.

Her expertise is a combination of experience and education. O’Keefe is a proud graduate of Connecticut College where she holds a B.A. in Theater and New York University where she studied TV Content Development and Production. More recently, she participated in the Harvard Business School Executive Education CTAM Leadership program. She resides in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband and children.
