NEW YORK, USA // Roman King is the Creative Director for the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Since joining the league in 2019, he has orchestrated its creative evolution, spearheading all creative across advertising, design, digital, brand marketing, and immersive experiences that capture the spirit and power of women's basketball today. Some of his work at the WNBA includes launching the league’s rebrand, the 25th-anniversary campaign “Count It” in 2021, the production of the league's first short film, "We Are The W," in 2022, and the "More Than Game" campaign in 2023. His work at the WNBA has been recognized by Ad Age, Adweek, the Clios, Ebony.com, Muse, MTV News, and the Webby Awards, among others.

Prior to joining the WNBA, Roman held creative leadership roles in editorial and marketing at Rolling Stone, Philadelphia magazine, and Condé Nast. He hails from the mountain state of West Virginia.
